The Rhode Island Chapter of the Surfrider Foundation’s Blue Water Task Force lit up the front page of The Westerly Sun as they published a large water sampling picture with an informative caption. The icy water efforts at all 14 site locations were commended for our year round work. Also honored in the story…URI’s Watershed Watch for the proficiency in their bacterial analysis. Both the Surfrider Foundation and the Blue Water Task Force mission statements were used as a voice for coastal awareness. And we even had our webpage address triumphantly displayed. Give thanks to all who helped in getting this published.
